In 1990, the founder of Smiling Eagle Press, Sandi Jerome, sold her first book to Compute! Book, a division of ABC/Capital. Since then, she has written over a dozen books and, in 2004, founded Smiling Eagle Press, which has since expanded to include seven authors, focusing on diversity, particularly in the Young Adult genre. Focused on her writing career, Sandi Jerome has turned over SmilingEagle Press to publisher Cathy Phillips.

Smiling Eagle focuses on Young Adult and Middle-Grade Chapter Books that can be adapted into TV/Streaming series, especially animated series. We do not charge you to publish your book. Questions? Just ask!
