SmilingEagle Press was founded in 2006 with a commitment to publishing meaningful technical and non-fiction works. For over fifteen years, we built our reputation on helping authors translate complex ideas into accessible, impactful books.

In 2022, we expanded our vision. While honoring our roots in non-fiction, we began championing Native American writers and publishing Young Adult and Middle Grade fiction—stories that inspire young readers and carry messages that resonate long after the final page.

We believe every author deserves a true partner, not a bill. SmilingEagle Press never charges writers to publish. Instead, we offer our knowledge, guidance, and years of experience to help each author find their path. We publish books with purpose—works that inform, challenge, and connect readers to something larger than themselves.
